Sophie is the enthusiastic Co-Founder of Dsposal. She’s passionate about building easy to use tech to make doing the right thing with waste the easiest thing. Prior to starting the company, she cycled 8700 miles around North America and enjoyed a winding career encompassing logistics, supply chain, the food industry and sustainability. She brings a fresh pair of eyes and breadth of experience to her new-found love for the waste and resources industry. She was voted joint 5th in the 2019 Resource Hot 100 and speaks internationally about the power of clean-tech, Open Standards and Open Data to transform our industry.

Tom is the CEO and Co-Founder of Dsposal with over a decade of experience in waste; as a council recycling advisor, with private waste management companies and most recently developing tech for the industry. He’s been on both sides of tech procurement and understands how daunting it can be for non-tech people, so he’s on a mission to demystify tech and make it work for everyone. He’s a passionate advocate for Passive Compliance and the role digitalisation can have in tackling waste crime. He was voted joint 5th in the 2019 Resource Hot 100 and sits on numerous advisory boards.
